Plant Mounting 101

Epiphytes are plants that grow on other plants or trees and receive nutrients and water from the air, rain and decaying matter around them. They make great houseplants due to their minimal water and soil requirements and are excellent candidates for mounting. In this hands-on class, you'll create your very own mounted plant choosing from our wide array of colorful epiphytic plants, bright green sphagnum moss and a unique piece of natural cork. You'll learn all about the care for these special plants, and can choose to create a small or large mount - all while enjoying complementary wine.

A few of the plant types and genera you may choose from include: Jungle cacti (Rhipsalis, etc.), Ferns, Philodendron, Hoya and Syngonium.
